1860 Lincoln Campaign Biographies
1860 Campaign Biographies in Quicktime
This video (approx. 15 minutes) presents some Lincoln Campaign Biographies. At the time of Lincoln's nomination, our culture did not have the media tools that we have today. Campaign biographies were a way for the people to get to know the candidates. Often, they were produced quickly, in an inexpensive format. They were not meant to stand up to the ravages of time. Because of this, they are rare and can be difficult to find today.
